Bloggy dreams really do come true! I met Catherine (of catherine et les fees)through the Waldorf forums and we've been connecting through each others blog ever since. When I was reading her posts of their road tripping adventures to the Yukon I asked the Universe, then her, if they would be into swinging by our neck of the woods for a visit. Yipee! I said, when she emailed me back saying they would. They also have other friends here they were going to see.
Here we have a princess, a mermaid and a fairy. The girls were so sweet and such a pleasure to have around. It was like three extra French-speaking Edies all of a sudden appeared in the house. Everyone was quietly immersed in their work of play while the grown ups visited and talked cow (JF is equally as cute as the kids and Catherine by the way and he knows alot about cows. He thinks we should get a dexter - yippee!), homeschooling and tripped out on how cool it was to have a real life visit.
And there was even a puppet show to enjoy - translated to English by mama. It was really magical. Meanwhile, I was ecstatic to have Cathrine sitting at my kitchen table where I can poke her periodically to confirm I wasn't hallucinating her. And she was just as I imagined her to be in real life. Like a long lost sister. So fun and I hope they eventually pack up for a permanent road trip out this way one day!
