Hola Senor Panda! He's the cutie on the left. So good to have good neighbors. Jane was one of our first friends in the area. She owns the most enchanting bed and breakfast complete with a crew of llamas and alpacas out back. We have a mutual friend Abby who suggested I give Jane a call for the crew just got sheared and there were bags and bags of their hairs kicking around waiting to be spun up.
There's Abby. Again, the cutie on the left. Abby helps Jane out over at the B&B feeding the critters and such. Some of the stuff includes hosing down the animals, which she just happened to be doing when the kids and I pulled up. One in particular (darn, I can only remember the Senor's name right now - see what happens when you blog with herbal tea? ) was playing around with the stream of water, trying to catch it with his toes. Soooo cute.
And check out what I got to bring home with me. Seven different colours to choose from. Oh my. My brain almost short circuited so I whispered thank you after five.
And then I sped home while the kids squealed "wheeeee" with their arms up in the air the whole time for I couldn't wait to play with this stuff. I made a mini-skein incorporating all five flavours and am calling the series "Arica Suave" because Arica is the name of the Bed and Breakfast and it's soft like suave.
