The title to this post is suppose to be like Bob Marely, ya know? One of my favourite ladies on the whole entire planet (for real) got married so I thought it would be nice for her and new huzzzzband to bliss out around the house together in matching pajama pants made from the softest cotton I've ever touched. Really. This stuff's incredible.
Crispy yet soft. Can you almost taste it? I scored this at the annual Yard and Yardage sale they have at the Threads Guild in the spring. I usually buy two garbage bags full of fabric each year and challenge myself to sew it all up. This one was such a find. It screamed the world's comfiest jammy pants.
Speaking of soft stripey things you just want to eat up! People are probably going through Kale withdrawal right about now. Edie, meanwhile, is at her desk still working on her next book, Sleeping Beauty. Speaking of cute little people, is it just me or do all newborns kinda look like Tobey Maguire?
See what I mean? Kind of creepy (in a really cute way, of course). Speaking of babies, I have posted and on my way to post many more, sewing creations in my etsy shop and some of it may be of interest to those with buns in ovens (belly warmers and maternity friendly dresses). Plus, I have recently scored a humongous fabric stash from my mummy and I'm whipping it all up into a Spring 2009 collection to share with all. I'll keep you posted but here's a little taste:
It's a full on wool dress thus the name Ewe Frock. I was originally thinking of Frock Ewe but the former has a way smiley-ier vibe to it. Have a great weekend! Edie's in daycare today, Kale will probably sleep the day away (the power of positive thought, anyway) and I'll be up in my sewing room. Bliss!
