My blog is going to get about a million times better now if you can believe it. Edie is training to become my personal photographer. She got the button pushing lesson down pat and is now catching me in all my mommy action glory. Here I am busting out on my latest favourite stress reliever: hole digging.
So I'm going to dig, dig, dig and make my garden big, Big, BIG! That was a nod to Lois Lenski - just like Soulemama, can't get the Spring book out my head these days. I know I want a trellis here in that blank spot between the sliding door and the nature table window and some kind of climbing flowery substance climbing up it. In the meantime I'm going back and forth between roses and clematis. Purple and pink. Eighties retro and hippy chic. Homeschooling and child labour. Oh, I just can't decide. Any thoughts on the flower question? I thought roses for the herbal treats they may offer but maybe clematis will be less finicky. Hmmmmm... until then I'll just dig away. Luckily , I suppose, my digging is like my knitting; super slow. Three days digging and so far it looks like the chickens scratched themselves little dug outs to sunbathe themselves in.
